We were engaged by the building manager to carry out a fully intrusive survey and subsequent repairs to the Brie Soleil (automatic sun blind installation) for the Peoplebuilding located in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire using our 26m MEWP (cherry picker).
Following our intrusive survey, we discovered that 10 of the hydraulic rams had failed together with several relays and numerous nuts and bolts were missing. We sourced 10 replacement hydraulic rams from the original manufacturer based in Germany, together with various replacement relays and fixings.
The intrusive survey took 5 days and once the replacement parts had been sourced/delivered the remedial work took 11dyas to complete.
The project total for all work was £33,000
