Building Services: Frailty Ward Refurbishment

Refurbishment Building Services Tasks Appointed –
IDWe Ltd have successfully completed the full refurbishment of Sheppey Community Hospital Frailty Ward. Hygiene and Safety was a priority when carrying out work on this project.
All necessary walls and ceilings were repaired and painted. Polysafe flooring was installed throughout the wards and bathrooms including upstands.
The windows were checked to make sure they were secure and locked.
Each of the bathrooms were also redecorated, replacing IPS panels including sinks and mirrors. Our team ensured the bathrooms were compliant.
All hooks and grab rails were removed for patience safety, and locks were blanked off on necessary doors.
IDWe Ltd also supplied and installed an air conditioning unit, ensuring all existing vents were cleaned.
Result –
The work was completed and the ward was able to open as planned.
As we are an NHS partner, we now have been asked to work on another project.
