Lighting Services Project Overview: 

To avoid any unreliable outages, every eight years UK House complete a full building clean.

Our Brief:

In support with this project, IDWe Ltd’s Electrical Services were required to up grade their facade lighting.

Highlights of Services Completed Included:

We removed 126 existing luminaires located within the window reveals and replaced one at a time with Mayer Superlight Nano 2 LED luminaires.

Following on from this, we carried out electrical tests on the existing wiring and connection boxes. The connection boxes were then reused, along with the new flexes we supplied to each luminaire.

Once the installation had been completed, we energised the electrical supply to test if the new luminaires were in good working order. This testing was carried out during the evenings.

Lastly, we ensured the site was cleared of all redundant items and disposed of at a licensed refuse/recycling facility.

Result:

The customer is happy with their building’s external lighting; it highlights special features of the architecture while keeping energy consumption low.

In addition, UK House’s approach of upgrading facade lighting every few years, helps to avoid costs of sporadic call outs.
