Due to business growth and to provide an excellent level of support to our clients, we have an Plumber Job, for an experienced Commercial Pipe Fitter/ Plumber to work alongside our existing team. The role will be based in Sidcup, our operating area is across London and the South East.

Experienced Commercial Pipe Fitter / Plumber Job

The majority of the work will see you working both independently and with other staff members across multiple Client Portfolios and Properties. You will be expected to undertake the following duties.

• Fault finding
• Surveys of existing pipework installations and reporting on any remedial work required
• Undertake plumbing and pipe fitting works on existing installations
• Undertake installation of new equipment
• Undertake maintenance on existing systems
• Work on own initiative
• Work with other trades to support installation works.

The role will ideally suit either a commercial pipe fitter/ plumber with 5+ year’s experience. You will be expected to have the following attributes.

• Good attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of building services installations in commercial properties
• Strong communication skills with clients and other trades
• Practical experience of all aspects of Building Services and ability to troubleshoot problems
• Accustomed to managing projects and capable of delivering works on time and to programme
• Identify opportunities to improve installations
• Comfortable working both independently and within a small team
• Ability to weld; although not essential
• Gas Safe Registered; although not essential

Qualifications

In addition to the above, the following experience is desirable:

• A good understanding of building services installations in all types of commercial buildings.
• Plumber NVQ Level 2 or 3
• CSCS card
• Driving Licence

You will receive:

• Competitive Salary – £40,000-50,000 per annum – dependent on experience

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday, our working hours are 8am-4pm on site.

Location

• Your assignments will be based off-site in Central London and the South East.
• You will be required to travel to our head offices in Sidcup.
